At the meetings they discussed the prospects and forms of further cooperation within the framework of the IAS Snowflake project and on the MIPT platform in general.
“The Arctic Snowflake project attracted a lot of attention at the international exhibition in sunny Dubai. Station's mobility and its power generation autonomy for remote facilities/settlements in the Arctic were of particular interest to potential partners of the UAE, where the infrastructural connection between the state's islands is also significant. It is gratifying to note that hydrogen energy technologies and other modern developments of MIPT are on the international agenda, which means great prospects for further international cooperation and, possibly, new joint projects”, said Yury Vasiliev, Executive Director of the Institute of Arctic Technologies.
