MIPT specialists explored the Jade Valley in winter for the first time

Scientists and experts from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology conducted construction-related research of the Snowflake station.

"The weather at the Jade Valley demonstrated once again that it is the ideal site for the International Arctic Snowflake station. The wind blows so hard here so it's even hard to stay on your feet, which means that the wind turbines will be running all the time and the blades even have to be slowed down otherwise they will fall into disrepair. The number of wind turbines in the project increased from 5 to 7.", said Andrey Silenko.
